Microblading Information
Microblading is a form of permanent makeup that is considered a tattoo (body art) in Illinois. Microblading is safe and long-lasting because at The Brow Studio, we use high-quality pigment that we gently insert into your skin with a disposable microblade tool. We only use biocompatible ink, which means your body will not recognize it as a foreign substance, thus preventing fading.
The procedure takes approximately 2.5 hours because we design your new eyebrows through careful measurements and shape mapping based on your natural face proportions. We show you every step along the way to ensure the outcome is fabulous!
We keep our clients comfortable during the procedure with our cozy Living Earth Crafts spa bed, calming spa environment and clean spa suite We offer detailed aftercare instructions and rest assured, pain is minimal! Natalia wears a medical gown, gloves and mask during every procedure.
Our microblading lasts approximately 3 years or a lifetime with touchup every 1-2 years after initial 3 year period. We advise a touch up approximately 6 weeks after initial procedure.
Procedure is $350. Touch Ups $50.

Microblading takes approximately 2.5 hours. We begin by shape mapping the brow area based on the natural contour of your brow bone and show you the initial sketches for your approval.

After Procedure
After you give us the green light to proceed, we been to microblade the brows. This involves a small blade that scratches pigment into your skin. Each stroke of the blade deposits ink into your skin and makes a "hair" for your new brows.

After the procedure you will notice the area is red, initially, but swelling is minimal. There are no visible blood or incision marks. We provide you with very detailed after care instructions, but rest assured, it is not difficult to care for your new brows!

Standard of care for microblading is to return approximately 6 weeks after the procedure for a touch up. This helps to fill in areas as ink settles and ensures maximum longevity for new brows. After that, we suggest a touch up every 2-3 years to maintain your original shape and color.

Regardless of the amount of hair you begin with, your eyebrows will be full when you compete the procedure. We are also able to accommodate color choice, but prefer to use an ink that highlights your complexion. We will show you all of your options during your consultation.
